Regular warriors
Regular warriors were usually farmers who only fought during war season so they could harvest when they needed to. Also many were trying to become rich off of fighting. The more enemies a solider caught the more reputation he would get. These regular soldiers mainly fought in the back with long range weapons.

I learned a lot. I have a question though were there such things as full time warriors, who fought the whole year. Also How would warriors capture other people in battle; was that their main goal or was it simply to kill the other person.
ReplyDeleteDid they sacrifice all of the people they caught, or did they keep any of the people they caught as slaves to work on the farms or to sell.
